Won's Own was founded in 2022 by Ryann Johnson, an experienced Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Events leader. Ryann spent nearly 20 years in Los Angeles, working for large and small companies, focusing on marketing strategies for both IP owners and those who want to partner with IP to further define their own brand. Clients and employers included Visa, Amazon, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Verizon, Macy's, General Mills, Disney, NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, Dignitas (esports), Endeavor and more, totaling 11 Fortune 100 companies.  

 

An inquisitive nature and strong worth ethic led to additional responsibilities and a variety of special projects, becoming somewhat of a jack of all trades along the way. She is a subject matter expert across film, TV, sports, gaming, music, fashion and culinary. Job descriptions were too limiting, and culture was changing (and still is) so fast, why limit one's self to working in just one industry, at one company, or across one core competency.  

Clients hire Won's Own for both short and long term projects. Typically, it's executives looking for part-time staff with flexible hours who can onboard quickly. Projects encompass marketing tactics—such as branding, partnership development, sponsorship and talent negotiation, content creation and event production—while material creation spans product development, business planning, budgeting, operational development, presentations and business modeling. The goal is to make it easier for organizations to get things done and focus on strategic initiatives in order to grow.
